WM Justin Plaster Shares Reflections on Monday's Relief Efforts at Unicoi Lodge

WM Justin Plaster had the following to share about Monday’s outreach efforts:

“Everything went good tonight. The lodge is packed with supplies. Initially, we expected about four truckloads, but so far, 16 have come in, with donations arriving from as far away as Baltimore. The community response has been overwhelming, and it’s incredible to see so many people come together in a time of need.”

As the relief work continues, it’s important to note that Hampton Lodge is still in need of additional resources to support their efforts in feeding the community. They are particularly looking for hamburger, sausage, bacon, and grated Parmesan cheese. Currently, they are feeding as many as 300 people per day, and this number may grow as more individuals seek assistance.

In addition to supplies, manpower is also needed—especially after Tuesday—to help with the ongoing work. If you are able to volunteer or contribute, your help would be greatly appreciated.

This is a true testament to the power of brotherhood and service, as Lodges from across the region come together to support the community. If you are able to assist or provide the needed items, please consider joining this effort to ensure no one in our community goes without a meal.
