Masonic Funeral for Bro. Roy Lee Moore

It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our longtime Brother, Roy Lee Moore.

Many of you will remember the wonderful evening we shared last November at our annual awards banquet, when we had the privilege of presenting Brother Roy with his 70-year Masonic service pin and certificate.

At 94 years young, Brother Roy stood before us and spoke about his many years in Freemasonry, the friendships he had made, and what being a Mason had meant to him throughout his life.

It was one of the most memorable moments of the evening, and we are especially thankful today that we had the opportunity to honor him while he was still with us.

Brother Roy’s dedication to our fraternity spanned generations. Through all those years, he remained part of the great chain of Brotherhood that connects us together.

We respectfully ask all Brothers who are able to attend to please come and help us give Brother Roy the Masonic farewell he deserves.

Your presence would mean a great deal as we come together to honor a Brother who dedicated more than seven decades of his life to Freemasonry.

As Masons, we often speak of the bonds of Brotherhood that extend beyond the walls of our lodge. Moments like these remind us just how meaningful those bonds truly are.
