Brothers at Work on Our Lodge Home

A day of rolling up our sleeves together to improve the Lodge, a reminder that fellowship is built side by side.

There is something special about rolling up your sleeves and working side by side with your brothers. Fellowship is not built by simply having your name on the membership roll. It is built through shared meals, degree work, conversations, laughter, and days like today where everyone comes together to improve the place we call home.

Freemasonry has always been about making good men better, and one of the greatest lessons it teaches is that no great work is accomplished alone. Every brush stroke, every helping hand, and every hour volunteered strengthens not only our lodge building but the bonds of brotherhood that unite us.

If you’ve ever wondered how to get more out of Masonry, the answer is simple. Attend your lodge meetings. Come to degree work. Join us on volunteer days. Be present. You truly get out of Masonry what you put into it, and the friendships you build along the way will last a lifetime.

A heartfelt thank you to all of the brothers who came out today to help prime the walls of our dining hall as we continue our Building for Tomorrow renovation. Soon these freshly painted walls will be joined by beautiful new wood floors, creating a warm and welcoming place where generations of Masons, their families, and our community will gather in fellowship for years to come.

Thank you, brothers. King Lodge No. 461 is stronger because of each of you.
