At King Lodge No. 461, we recently had the pleasure of hosting a School of Instruction in partnership with Zollicoffer Lodge No. 444 and M.M. Martin Lodge No. 547. This memorable event, officiated by Grand Lecturer Brother Dusty Parsons, brought together 37 masons for an evening of fellowship, learning, and the essence of Freemasonry.

Principals of Freemasonry Brothery Love, Relief, and Truth

The evening began at 6:00 pm with a communal meal, where every lodge contributed covered dishes and desserts. This wonderful spread of food set the stage for a night of camaraderie and brotherhood. The meal wasn’t just about sustenance; it was a time for brothers to connect, share stories, and enjoy each other’s company. This fellowship is a cornerstone of Freemasonry, reflecting our commitment to Brotherly Love and mutual support.

Following the meal, we moved into the instructional part of the evening. Brother Dusty Parsons led a well-thought-out session that focused on enhancing our knowledge and practices. The instruction was not only informative but also engaging, providing new insights and reinforcing important Masonic principles. Brother Dusty’s guidance was invaluable, helping us to learn and refine our techniques.

The importance of practicing together cannot be overstated. As Freemasons, we strive to improve our degrees for newly made masons, ensuring that each initiation is conducted with the highest standards of excellence. This dedication to continuous improvement reflects our commitment to the core values of Freemasonry: Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth.

The School of Instruction was a resounding success, thanks to the participation of the brothers and the leadership of Brother Dusty Parsons. It was a night that reinforced our bonds, enriched our knowledge, and reaffirmed our commitment to the principles of Freemasonry.
