King Lodge No. 461 Confers Fellowcraft Degree with Strong Fellowship and Community Support
On March 12, 2026, King Lodge No. 461 F.&A.M. in Bristol, Tennessee held a called meeting to confer the Fellowcraft Degree. It was a wonderful evening marked by fellowship, strong participation from visiting lodges, and a great meal shared among brothers and guests.
Before the meeting, members and visitors gathered to enjoy a homemade dinner prepared by lodge members. The menu featured homemade meatloaf, mashed potatoes, green beans, and peach cobbler for dessert.
A special thanks goes to my nephew Alex, who volunteered his time to help serve the meal and assist with preparations. His help was greatly appreciated and contributed to the welcoming atmosphere of the evening.
The lodge room was well attended, and it was encouraging to see brothers from neighboring lodges join us for the work. Rhea Lodge No. 47 and Clay Lodge No. 386 were represented, showing the strong bond and cooperation between lodges in our region.
During the meeting, the Lodge of Fellowcraft Masons was opened in due form, and the candidate was received and passed to the degree of Fellowcraft Mason. The degree work was conducted by Brother David Smith and the degree team, whose dedication and effort helped make the evening meaningful and memorable.
It was also a pleasure to recognize visiting brothers and fifty-year Masons in attendance, including Brother Jim Pepper and Brother Bob Felts, whose long service to the fraternity continues to inspire the next generation of Masons.
With 14 Masons present and strong participation from visiting lodges, the evening demonstrated the strength of our Masonic community and the value of fellowship among brothers.
King Lodge No. 461 extends its gratitude to everyone who attended, participated in the degree work, and helped make the evening successful. Nights like this remind us that Freemasonry is built not only through ritual and tradition, but through fellowship, service, and brotherhood.
