A Testament to Brotherhood: 60-Year Masonic Award Presented at King Lodge No. 461
On Wednesday evening, following our 6:00 PM fellowship meal, King Lodge No. 461 had the distinct honor of presenting the 60-Year Masonic Service Award to Brother Wesley Mason Jester, Jr.
The commemorative pin and certificate were formally presented by Worshipful Master Billy Rivers and Secretary Wes Leonard. It was a meaningful moment for our Lodge, and we were deeply honored to serve in this important presentation.
This occasion was also a powerful example of how Freemasonry unites men beyond local Lodges. The process began when the Secretary of Eola Lodge No. 207 in Florida reached out to the Grand Lodge of Florida. From there, communication was sent to the Grand Lodge of Tennessee, which then contacted our Secretary at King Lodge No. 461 to arrange the presentation.
It was a clear testament to how Lodges, working together through their Grand Lodges, connect and unite men across state lines and throughout the world. The bonds of Masonry truly extend far beyond any single Lodge room.
Receiving a 60-Year Award represents six decades of faithful dedication to the Craft a lifetime committed to its principles and teachings. During the presentation, Brother Jester expressed heartfelt gratitude and reflected on what Masonry has meant to him over the past sixty years. His remarks spoke of fellowship, growth, and the lasting impact of the fraternity in his life.
And in true King Lodge fashion, fellowship extended beyond the ceremony. After enjoying the evening’s meal, Brother Jester jokingly and warmly said he would be putting it on his calendar to come eat with us every Wednesday.
It was an evening that beautifully demonstrated brotherhood, cooperation, and the enduring strength of Freemasonry.
King Lodge No. 461 extends sincere congratulations and fraternal appreciation to Brother Wesley Mason Jester, Jr. on sixty years of dedicated Masonic service.
