On November 9, 2024, King Lodge No. 461 celebrated its 150th anniversary with a spirited Chili Cookoff competition, welcoming Masons, family, and community members to join in on the festivities. Eight Masons from district lodges competed for the title of Royal Chili Master 2024, with Fire Chief Bill Nunley of the Green Spring Volunteer Fire Department serving as judge.

On October 24, 2024, King Lodge #461 hosted an evening of camaraderie and fellowship, bringing together 21 Masons, including 10 visiting brethren from six different lodges. The night featured two Entered Apprentice degrees, honoring both tradition and the bonds that unite Freemasons across East Tennessee.

King Lodge members joined forces with Unicoi Lodge in Erwin, TN, to provide hot meals and supplies to those affected by recent flooding. Worshipful Master Justin Plaster reported an overwhelming response, with donations coming from as far as Baltimore. Hampton Lodge is still in need of food supplies, including hamburger, sausage, bacon, and grated Parmesan cheese, as they continue to feed up to 300 people daily. Volunteers are also welcome to lend a hand, especially after Tuesday. Together, we can support our community during this challenging time.
