King Lodge first time at Rhythm and Roots 2025
This past weekend, King Lodge No. 461 stepped into new territory by operating our very first food booth at the Rhythm & Roots Festival in downtown Bristol, TN/VA. Months of planning went into the design and layout of the booth, researching supplies, and creating marketing materials. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our members, it was a tremendous success.
Highlights
The 2 Hot Dog Loaded Combo was the crowd favorite, proving that festival-goers loved the full experience of our loaded dogs.
Lemonade was a hit in the heat.
Walking Tacos gave us a strong second option, popular with both locals and visitors.
The biggest star of the weekend was Bro. Earlston, whose booming call of “Hot Dogs, Walking Tacos, Ice Cold Lemonade!” kept the crowd smiling and drew in customers throughout the festival.
Fellowship and Community
What made the booth shine wasn’t just the food, but the fellowship. Many brothers from the lodge stopped by to lend a hand, and we simply could not have done it without their support. The teamwork and camaraderie behind the scenes made the booth run smoothly and created a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
We were blessed to meet not only members of the community but also many visiting Masons and those with Masonic family ties who stopped by to chat. The booth raised our visibility in the community and showed the positive impact of working together in brotherhood.
A Job Well Done
This weekend was more than just a fundraiser—it was a testament to what we can achieve when we come together as a lodge family. Thank you to everyone who helped set up, cook, serve, and clean up. With this success, King Lodge has made a strong mark at Rhythm & Roots, and we look forward to building on this tradition in the years ahead.
