King Lodge No. 461 Welcomes Our Newest Master Mason Brother Michael Ellis
On Thursday, October 30th, 2025, King Lodge No. 461 in Bristol, Tennessee, gathered in due form to raise Brother Michael Anthony Ellis to the sublime degree of a Master Mason. The evening was filled with brotherhood, tradition, and fellowship as members and visitors from seven different lodges joined in support of our newly raised Brother.
The degree was conferred by Brother Jerry O’Dell, with WM David Smith presiding. In total, 24 Masonswere in attendance, including two distinguished Fifty-Year Masons Brother Jim Pepper and Brother Frank Galloway. Lodges represented included Sinking Creek No. 575, Zollicoffer No. 444, Rhea No. 47, Whiteside No. 13, Johnson No. 274, Taylorsville No. 243, and Centennial No. 491.
Brother Ellis has been a familiar face at King Lodge long before his raising. He has faithfully attended our lodge meals and was a helping hand during our Rhythm & Roots Hot Dog Booth, showing his dedication and kind-hearted nature that embodies the true spirit of Freemasonry.
We are proud to welcome Brother Michael Ellis as a Master Mason of King Lodge No. 461. His sincerity, generosity, and commitment to service are already making an impact within our Lodge and community.
As Worshipful Master Smith shared during the closing remarks, the evening reflected the very essence of our Craft — unity, brotherly love, and the timeless pursuit of light.
We invite all Brothers to join us in congratulating Brother Ellis on reaching this important milestone in his Masonic journey.
