King Lodge No. 461 recently mobilized a veterans outreach project led by our Senior Warden, delivering carloads of essential supplies to the Mountain Home VA.
At King Lodge No. 461 F&AM, Freemasonry is more than ritual—it’s a call to action in our community.
Our Senior Warden recently proposed a powerful and heartfelt initiative: to use part of our lodge’s benevolent fund to support veterans receiving care at the Mountain Home VA Hospital. With the help of fellow lodge members, he organized the collection and delivery of several carloads of essential supplies. On Friday, April 18th, those items were delivered to Building 600 at the VA, offering comfort and support to those who have served our country.
This project embodies our Masonic mission: to make good men better. By encouraging leadership, compassion, and community service, Freemasonry empowers members to take action where it’s needed most.
A special thanks goes to Bro. Billy Rivers, whose continuous outreach—delivering food and supplies to the homeless, bringing meals from our monthly breakfast, and always lending a hand—reminds us what it truly means to live by the tenets of brotherly love, relief, and truth.
We are proud of the hearts that beat within King Lodge. Through efforts like this, we strive to make a difference—one act of kindness at a time.
